There is truth to what you're saying, here.

However, single-parent homes do not account for all the disparities. I went deep into this topic with research a couple of years ago and I came out with a 70%+ correlation to violent crime (single parent homes).

Throw nearly universal support right back to the people who "had them in chains" to begin with. And for what? Empty promises and trinkets?
