Will it? The vascular issues alone have very high 5 year mortality rates in addition to the ADE they are known to cause.
but the process will be slow for two reasons: minimize suspicion and milk wealth out of ill people.
They are using the tools they have at hand and aren't worried about suspicion and really don't need any more wealth. They seek power and control and to please their God.
