Simple and to the point, thanks. Got lots going through my head right now.
Dude, a few months ago, at great expense and stress, I moved from a place that was totally insane with virus rules, to a place 4500 miles away where life is normal. It was a pain in the ass, but my life is better than ever, in every way. The move wasn't fun, but the end result absolutely justified it. Imagine the shit our ancestors went through..
I am envious. I am very interested in where life is better so that I can move there ASAP
The Florida Panhandle Emerald Coast, from Destin to Panama City Beach...it's all great, but pricey. Nothing like east/south Florida, which is shit.
The impossible life in Britain in the 1700's for those without the king's patronage was why millions got on ships to America. You are a modern pioneer.
I've made several huge moves in my life, this was the best one. HAVE COURAGE, PEOPLE!! Our ancestors crossed oceans, mountains, deserts...what's stopping you? I'm not young anymore, but I'll be damned if I will put up with bullshit 'laws' when there are better places to live.
Doing the same thing. In the middle of the move at this moment. I quit my job because i would not give them a clot shot status. In retro, should have made them fire me. In the normal place were moving to, have already secured a job. Not saying it is easy, but it can be done.
It was so worth it, my anger level went down 95% overnite after I got here. But I will always retain that 5% so I don't get weak like Bryan Adams.
I did that one year ago, CA to TX. It's night and day difference. Haven't had to deal with any jewflu rules for 6 months now.
Where did you move from/to?
Nice try, FBI.
Why don’t you move your dick pics into my inbox
Hawaii to coastal Panhandle Florida
I'm in your position and I simply quit without explaining why. But I quit exactly on the date they required proof of the vaxx.
Yep, same here. I even got 3 more email after my resignation asking why I quit and would I expand on why I resigned.
In the military you have a contract that you can't quit though. That's the thing, on top of them being able to crush your life in just about every way if they want to - monetary fines, jail and a criminal record.
I say it's time to get out one way or another. As much as I respect the military, it is currently run by the jackasses who do not respect the military.
Careful with the dishonorable discharge, it might make it very difficult for you to find a job in private sector. Are you in Europe?
Military discharge only matters if you admit to being ex-military. Might keep you from working for government, but not private sector. Speaking from experience. In the little box on applications, I always said no. Never once bit me in the ass.
Don't ask, don't tell. Learned that from the military.
rom working for government, but not private sector. Speaking from experience. In the little box on applications, I always said no. Never once bit m
Good tip and I kinda figured it probably isn't as much of a drawback as some make it seem. I'll never work gov again anyway.
Depends in what sector you want to work in. I'm from Europe and OP said he is as well and if you want to work in Security, what is what most of ex-military would go for, background checks are needed for getting a license and for start of each employment, and having a military background is an easy way to get some high end well paid contracts. I'm also ex military.
Yep, central western europe. Don't want to doxx myself though.
Just wanted to let you know that if you are considering working in Security after you leave having an dishonorable discharge might not work well for you since they do pre employment background checks, at least where I am.
