So my military has decided to make the shot mandatory. It's not yet fully known when the cutoff date is, but I've heard of people in other brigades being ordered to get it on December 6th even though, like I said, officially it's not known when the requirement officially comes to pass.

So there's two options, because getting the shot isn't one of them.

  1. Dishonest: get a fake pass, get by for another six months until you need a booster and who knows if you need some kind of digital proof by then. That would raise red flags as to why you don't want the booster which will be required. Or maybe it'll be illegal to get it outside of the military. So you're buying yourself six months at most.

  2. Honest: Say no and hope they let me go on at least a general discharge. Worst case I get a monetary fine which will be in the thousands and then again a fine and again until they give me disciplinary arrest and then military jail with dishonorable discharge for disobeying orders.

I'm one of less than 20 in my company (150ish soldiers) who aren't vaxxed and I'm thinking most of them will take it. A few might do a fake pass.

Are there any options I'm missing? Religious exemption doesn't exist here. Laywer is pretty much pointless and just a hassle at this point, you wouldn't sue in communist Russia so why bother here. Another thing with the fake pass, you will be used for corona help centers and so will end up contact tracing which I can't morally support and that might lead to rounding people up like in Australia.

My wife says to just refuse and take on whatever punishment. We're Christian so she's probably right. Getting a fake pass is like half cucking because I don't have faith that God will somehow get me through. On the other hand you wouldn't put it past someone in commie Russia to fake a pass 50 years ago to avoid jail.

But I think she's right, we need people to stand up and say no.

Oh another thing, if I get myself another 6 months and evrything goes well I'd be able to finish getting an MOS which would be of great use in a civil war.

Dude, a few months ago, at great expense and stress, I moved from a place that was totally insane with virus rules, to a place 4500 miles away where life is normal. It was a pain in the ass, but my life is better than ever, in every way. The move wasn't fun, but the end result absolutely justified it. Imagine the shit our ancestors went through..

I am envious. I am very interested in where life is better so that I can move there ASAP

The Florida Panhandle Emerald Coast, from Destin to Panama City Beach...it's all great, but pricey. Nothing like east/south Florida, which is shit.

I was gonna PM you and ask if you moved from Seattle to Florida. Keep hearing about the Emerald Coast.

The impossible life in Britain in the 1700's for those without the king's patronage was why millions got on ships to America. You are a modern pioneer.

I've made several huge moves in my life, this was the best one. HAVE COURAGE, PEOPLE!! Our ancestors crossed oceans, mountains, deserts...what's stopping you? I'm not young anymore, but I'll be damned if I will put up with bullshit 'laws' when there are better places to live.

I made my partial moves a few years ago. Finalizing a few more now.

And of course 20 years ago I decided to live debt free ( not buy stuff I couldn't fully pay for with savings is how that happens in normal world) and that gave me an amazing amount of freedom so most things don't affect me.

Doing the same thing. In the middle of the move at this moment. I quit my job because i would not give them a clot shot status. In retro, should have made them fire me. In the normal place were moving to, have already secured a job. Not saying it is easy, but it can be done.

It was so worth it, my anger level went down 95% overnite after I got here. But I will always retain that 5% so I don't get weak like Bryan Adams.

I did that one year ago, CA to TX. It's night and day difference. Haven't had to deal with any jewflu rules for 6 months now.
