I think the only game I ever played that had a 2nd person viewpoint was Ape Escape when it showed the POV of the final boss during one of the last fight stages
I prefer first person in... First person shooters, though some games work fine in third person.
Driving games definitely in third person as it gives you a huge advantage.

Depends. Would you play a fighting game first person? Yeah I would, that stupid vr boxing simulator. But you can't back fist, or hammer blow, I need those illegal street moves in my boxing.
1st person: immersive and experiential

I perfer reality, which is a first person view. I stopped playing video games more than a decade ago.
I think it really depends on the game. Warframe and Genshin Impact are great in third person, but games like Minecraft and classic shooters are much better in first person.
