I just bought a house and there is a 3 gallon container of the stuff in the storage shed . The previous owner was an electrician and God fearing man so I don't think he was drinking it . Anyone know its' purpose / use ?

Its basically ethyl alcohol but made carefully "with attention to detail". Its possible it was used to remove water from electric components?

Makes sense , previous owner lived here for 55 years and was an electrician . He left all kinds of neatly organized stuff behind .
