They are good for toning and aerobic interval exercise. You can get twice the workout in because you can pop them around your feet and curl them in a recliner while watching TV, or around your waist and hooked to each foot and do leg shit. If you are looking for additive exercise in your down time these are excellent, cheap, portable, and convenient.

That's pretty much it. My job is pretty physical, so I can't do a hard workout all the time, but I just to not be a lazy piece of shit on my off days when I want to fucking watch anime and smoke weed.

The never talked about true benefit and where most dummies fail is with STRETCHING. Forcing those muscles to relax, especially the neck and traps, is super important. You can hook these to something and wrap them around your shoulder and stretch your pecs and traps and shit. Training your muscles to tighten is great but if you don't remind them to relax you become a big old ball of unmoving pain.
