Objective truth is all that matters ultimately. Suppose the doctrine of original sin to be true and that your good deeds may benefit your fellow man but won't make you righteous in the sight of God or do anything towards obtaining his favor because He has set out another way for that...if that is true then your wishes and logic and assumptions and reasoning can't change that fact if it is indeed a fact, and why can't it be? Of course it can be.
objective truth about something that you cannot know definitively if it exists
You cannot know for certain if a higher power exists, so there is no such thing as "objective truth" about it.
If a higher power existed then that higher power would have the ability to persuade someone that the higher power did indeed exist, and would be able to point out objective evidences and proofs for such that a blind man would not have perceived previously, that is what happened to me. You just would not have satisfactorily been able to prove those things sufficiently to a second party.
If a higher power existed then that higher power would have the ability to persuade someone that the higher power did indeed exist,
So, why is it that non-believers exist then?
