I agree with you, and it isn’t as if Trump is even a conservative, anyway. He’s a “populist,” and not in the good sense. He got so caught up in his PR wanks that got him into office, he didn’t bother pulling together a team who could implement the promises he made. He worked with the establishment GOP, cut deals to people who wouldn’t help him or keep up their end of the bargain, and spent most of his time tweeting from the shitter and making moves that were rolled back in a matter of months after Biden stepped into office.
how does he not make the tax cuts permanent?
his biggest blunder was not securing the elections. how in the fuck is that not your priority on day 1.
If we presume he’s genuine, my guesses are:
He didn’t make the tax cuts permanent as part of a “hey, if you re-elect me, I’ll keep these going.”
He didn’t secure the elections because Kushner and his other advisers said it would “look paranoid” and even “rayciss” if he did.
Alternately, there’s always just the possibility that he’s merely another part of the establishment, himself, merely posing as an outsider.
right with you buddy. i agree with all 3 scenarios. i ask a lot of rhetorical questions in an attempt to get ppl thinking.
the left doesn't negotiate and gets their insane policies passed for the most part, while very logical policies are killed, watered down to the point they're meaningless or we have to give into some more insanity in another area to get reasonable things passed.
voter id can't be passed, but no problem ignoring border LAWS??
it's stroke inducing to watch.
