my uncle recently recounted to me his first time killing an enemy combatant (from back in Desert Storm) and the story was all Chuck Norris bangbang shoot em up until he got to the part where he mag dumped on an unsuspecting Royal Guard dude who had an AK pointed at him (without round in the chamber, luckily) and my tuff as nails uncle broke down EXACTLY like Kyle did on stand. Not really tears but laboring the control of breath and words as he retold the story. The Iraqi had a picture of his kids in his coat pocket when my unkz searched the body. Kyle has PTSD for fuckin sure. Anyone talkin tuff otherwise (including myself) need to stand down and observe from the sidelines lest we appear retarded and ignorant.
