I'm a single mom because my ex beat me for years for small things like making too much noise cleaning, forgetting a number from my social when he wanted me to open a social security card, or burning food in trying to cook. I'm a quiet, meek and timid girl but even he started to hurt my newborn baby, I had the strength to leave my ex husband. I don't think most single moms are that way for the same reason as me. When I talk about these things to certain people, they blame me. I've been single for 7 years now and prefer to be single and study philosophy then get into another relationship. DBT therapy from years of cruel beatings and unusual rapes is what got me into philosophy. I know I'll get hate for this here, but I don't care. I'm not here for the care bears.
