Eastern Europe, Russia and the stans. Not a fan of China. I don't mean western idea of Chinese food. The shit you get in China can be stomach churning.
Best would be (imho) Western Europe - Spain, Italy, Germany. I've been to 5 countries in Africa (Tunisia, Morocco, South Africa, Ghana and Togo) and loved the food. But after a few weeks crave western food. English food is nice too, no idea why it gets a bad rep. Best street food is easy, South Korea. Would happily live on Korean street food for a year, its amazing.

In terms of overpriced, over fancy, shitfood, russian takes the cake. Get dressed up like and pay like a minor oligarch, eat shit. At least it won't taste like shit though because it will be litterally tasteless.
