I should say I was dating a girl who knew the good restaurants... not cheap either the vindalo was hot the first time they asked how hot and as a Texan I said the hottest. The girl with me thought I was crazy the cook and I guess helpers came out and watched me eat it. I ate it all it was God damn hot but not so much to be a dare just a lot of forehead wiping as I was sweating.

Next time I went with normal heat I asked the chef to make it like he made it if he was going to eat it. Much much better but still hot

I'm native to Colorado so I grew up on green chili. We had this local Mexican restaurant that had incredibly delicious food. They had 6 levels of heat and the top was called "nuclear waste". I tried it once and I got it down but was certainly wiping my sweat off too.

I love spicy food but at a certain point it's not enjoyable, especially the next day on the shitter when you are hoping for the splash. How's the beaner food in Texas? I don't understand how but Commiefornia and Arizona have shit Mexican food compared to Colorado... their's is better than Washington and certainly London but I don't understand how two bordering states have worse food than Colorado.

Texas has a wide variety it can be terrible to off thd charts. Oddly offnthe charts can be expensive upper scale or a small little family place I happen to live close to an example of both. But the border is worth going to visit the little taqqurias <<< however you spell that. Are really good and if the border opens back up u can safely go eat dinner in mexico<<< only go to good expensive places upper class and you get what would be a 50 dollar meal here for 25

Colorado... well before it became Commiefornia anyway used to say "Tex-Mex or Mexican?" I prefer an egg role wrapped chile rellano over that egg battered abortion you have to chew the skin off of before enjoying something delicious.

Tex-Mex growing up was always better than "Mexican food" but maybe that's just my opinion. Colorado or New Mexico has the best Mexican food ever in my opinion... I need to move to Texas, I'm seriously considering it.
