You are comparing the worst of one culture against a fabricated one.

You may as well be comparing the latest anime you saw against the Friends sitcom. Have you ever been to Japan, it's run down, crowded, restrictive, and small. You'll be aching for an American breakfast after a day and a half. You can spend a little time there beyond that and get caught up in the whirlwind of culture shock. But how many happy people do you see?

Comparing rural areas might be more fair but in that case you've got far fewer of them and they basically live on a beach. Might be more geographical than anything, still rundown still poor.

I've been to japan and it is rad. Yes, it isn't as ideal as some weebs think, but it is overwhelmingly clean, safe, and accommodating.

If you are not in the sticks you can eat anything you want, american style breakfast choices are plentiful.

Compare to any majority black area.

Fuck that! In Japan I ate what they ate, I got plenty of American cuisine at home.

The place is great. Act like a human and speak a couple of words/sentences in their language and they bend over backwards to help you out.

Agreed, but being there for a month you'll want to mix it up a bit. ;)

I didn't initially see you were talking about black areas. Who's comparing black areas to japan

>How can any one look at Japanese culture and look at American black culture and in any way say they are equal??

it is the title

Japan is not run down and the trains are on time. This is not the case for USA Florida where organisation is a missing art apparantly. Tokyo is cleaner, friendlier and more interesting than Miami.
