I told you guys earlier: just because the DA presses charges and assigns the case to these guys doesn't mean these guys support it. We've all been assigned shit work from the boss. These guys probably pissed the boss off sometime and they got assigned the unwinnable case.

DA only hires (or keeps) assistant DAs who are politically compatible with him. The DA knows that an assistant DA can find ways to undermine him if they aren't on the same page. In a smaller city like Kenosha, that is more so.
