We looked into eating the placenta, once you see what it looks like (face hugger from Alien) you’ll nope right out of that notion.
What I will strongly encourage is to make sure you tell the hospital that you want to keep the placenta and take it home with you and bury it in the yard.
Our hospital experience was a nightmare, they really do push for a c-section. Make sure to read up on all this stuff before you go in because they will scare you into petosin and epidurals.
Also don’t go into the hospital until contractions are consistently 5 minutes part (there’s a timing app). If the wife isn’t diahlated enough they will try and break her water prematurely and rush the pregnancy. Our first born was almost a nightmare.
That’s all really good to know, I appreciate that
I would strongly advise a home birth with midwife. Hospital will push injections and things that you don’t need, refuse and it’s grounds for seizing custody of the child for its own protection even if you have the waivers signed before hand.
A NORMAL CHILD NEEDS NO INJECTIONS AT BIRTH.
I have two kids, one was conventionally vaccinated, now has autism, gets sick a lot. The second has never had a needle or antibiotics. Is the healthiest smartest most energy filled child anyone has ever seen.
Choose wisely.
I’m trying to convince her to use a midwife for this exact reason. She’s just concerned that we will be far from the hospital if anything happens like uncontrollable bleeding. I really don’t like the idea of my baby leaving my sight after it’s born to be injected or God knows what.
