You all shouldn't joke about God. Some things are, literally, sacred and should not be prophaned. Let me put it in terms you can understand -- it's bad luck to mock God.

I never really believed this. I always thought that when people were "laughing at themselves" they were just pretending to laugh so as not to seem weak or vulnerable in front of others. Nobody really laughs at themselves.
