Does anyone have any resources for home schooling? My kid is getting a crap education in the kiked public school system and I'm looking for grade leveled resources based on the 80's or early 90's standards. Any help would be appreciated.

Chemistry, anatomy, and earth sciences are critical.

I recommend the great courses plus, I used their math and science courses when I was homeschooled it's been some time but I see no reason they would need to re-teach those lessons, I used VHS and DVD tapes, I did saxon math all but one year and frankly I liked the great courses more.

I have no clue if they have become POZZED today but it was all no nonsense white male professors when I used their videos.

If your kid can't sit still, pay attention, and actively listen and incorporate knowledge they'll just be a waste of money, if your kid loves learning the information will soak right in.

I would watch a science lecture with my lunch every day.

Absolutely. People with little or no knowledge of things like physics and chemistry fall prey to stupid ideas like "5G kills people" or "crystals have healing power." When they understand how the world works they understand why those things are stupid.

Understanding fundamentals of the sciences can help prevent you from becoming the victim of a scam, a hoax, or even, common deceits, but further can help you intuit the behaviors of the natural world and even good investments, it's also vital for practical trades and many white color jobs which are actually valuable for society.

Further, Science has historically been the white man's domain, it is our peoples legacy to the world and that anyone dare say it's not worthy of passing down to our progeny is the most foolish thing I've heard on this site so far.

My family includes a rocket scientist and a biologist and we know 5g isn't safe AT ALL, so maybe do a little more reading yourself?

Unless you are proposing a new form of physics, there is nothing more to read. 5G is a protocol. It's carried on radio waves. The same kind that are bombarding you from the Sun and space every second at 10,000 times the power of anything man-made. The signal carried by the wave has no bearing on the wave's interaction with matter. An 800 MHz signal is an 800 MHz signal whether it's carrying a 5G signal, a television signal, or just random noise from the Sun. If you propose otherwise, you're going to have to explain in detail with math how the same photon can become more dangerous if it's carrying a 5G signal vs. a 4G signal.

OK. What has chemistry done for average Joe in their life time?

Chemistry is knowing diesel and kerosene are practically the same thing and can be interchangeable in a pinch, chemistry is understanding how phthalates in plastics, soaps and other things can behave as synthetic estrogen in the human body, chemistry is knowing which solvent to use in a clogged pipe so as not to damage the pipe, chemistry is understanding the weight and density of materials intuitively, chemistry is knowing how and why rust from old iron is the handiest resource grandpa had available to him to use in protecting The wood of his barn. Chemiatry is understanding why single celled life will always die in contact with silver, copper, or tannins, and sometimes alcohol even though they can develop resistances to antibacterial drugs. A simple example of why the naturally darkest bourbon you can buy is a vital survival good. Understanding PH and acid/base reactions will keep you from low key poisoning yourself or toxifying your blood and is the basis for probably half of all medical interventions. Understanding why copper bracelets aren't magically gonna improve your balance or make you healthier but copper lined socks will reduce foot stink, chemistry is understanding why you should always be skeptical of "wonder materials" like nonstick surfaces and synthetic fabrics, chemistry is understanding why salting roads and sidewalks is a good idea ahead of a winter storm this is commonly the difference maker between having a heart attack and not in middle age and older. Understanding chemistry is the difference between falling for a trendy product like a swamp cooler and knowing the use case for one.

I could genuinely keep this up all day with random examples. Chemistry is a huge part of daily life, from understanding catalyzers, PH, oxidation, evaporation, specific density, conductivity, etc. to knowing why half the shit in the supermarket is poisoning you or not making your life easier at all.

Well said. But still wrong.

The vast majority of us given chemistry lessons in school know none of the above with zero detriment.

Chemistry is fringe knowledge that is important only to those working in certain industries.

Knowing that acids and alkali counteract/ neutralise each other is a pretty good, useful example of basic chemistry.

Just follow instructions on your pool.

Teach your kids instead to cook clean and fabricate
