Have a lot of chair railing, it gets dusted every time I notice it needs it. Probably every month to every other month, depending on how windy it gets outside(red clay dust is awful).
Table tops are wiped several times a week because I have kids.
I don't do knick knacks because I hate dusting.
My step mother used to dust her fake ficus tree every month. Just thinking about it makes my eye twitch.
