Ok I got my head around this, you guys separated an agents role into 2 roles. Sounds like a massive scam if I’m honest.
I’m assuming the “sellers” agent helps you get ready for sale with all the paperwork, contracts, advice on presentation and styling, any maintenance etc etc? While the “buyers” agent is the one who brings potential purchasers through the home and negotiates the price on your behalf?
If I’m anywhere near close with that guess, It’s a pretty fucked and convoluted system and I don’t see how it’s benefits buyers or sellers even slightly.
If the house is in as good a condition as when you purchased recently then I doubt you need a “selling” agent.
If you can find the buyers and feel confident with negotiation and all the necessary paperwork you can probably skip the “buyers” agent as well
