Just interview him. Like a radio interview. "What's a game you like?" "What was the first thing that attracted you to it?" "Mmmhmm, and what's your favorite part now?" "That's cool, tell me more."

yeah like I said, ask questions and let him handle most of the conversation. that's definitely the safe route. then if you hit on something youre expert in, yeah maybe open up some.
