For starters the english are not a race.
Saying limey is no different than saying mick or kraut. Certain segments of a given nationality may consider it derogatory and take offense, just as some Americans may not like the terms gringo or yank.
Back in the day some Aussie & English naval personnel may have considered it "fighting words", but they did used to carry limes on their ships to prevent scurvy. So there is historical truth behind the name.

Anglos are a race, distinct from the French, the Spaniards, the Germans, etc. Shitskin subhumans are a different species of hominid, to say nothing of the grotesque hybrids.
Just because they are a distinct ethnicity, does not make them a race. That being said, racism, as it was popularly understood, can just be hatred fuelled by ethnic differences.
