Run away from folks who use scented anything. They can't keep a clean house. I have to repeatedly tell them.. Stop using candles they clog up your air conditioner.. They put too much humidity in your house so the a/c never shuts off. Even glade plug ins are a sign of dirty heart dirty life.

Not only that, but the fact that chemicals added to products for "scent" aren't regulated at all. Many of them are known carcinogens and worse.

OK Im going to need a more detailed reason. Why a candle, raises humidity.

Wax is a hydrocarbon. When you burn hydrocarbons you oxidize the carbon to make CO2 and the hydrogen to make H2O.

Yup. A burned candle releases air borne wax. Glade plug ins release air borne disinfectants. Both clog up an air conditioner. Precice tunes machines don't do well with man made particles.
