It would be cheaper to just OD them on Fentanyl.

[–] 1 pt

just put them in the back of a van with a tube to the exhaust pipe

Fuck that, gas is $4 where I live.

Cheap yes, but not sure enough. Over time some of these fuckers have developed an absolutely phenomenal drug tolerance. Two is one and one is none. An OD of fentanyl followed by the guillotine though... no way they're coming back from that and you can institute it on an industrial, automated, assembly line basis. Jab 'em, put 'em on the conveyor belt, whack 'em. Conveyor feeds into a mulcher with the output blowing out into a catfish pond. Open 24/7/365, no waiting, "We never close, not even on Christmas. Next!"

Say what you like about the french, but they actually managed to come up with an execution method that the Germans kept in use after they took over in france. The Germans took a look at it, nodded and said, "Yep. Good job. Keep it up." That says something.

Ideas. I got 'em.

Hanging. It's traditional, it was used for thousands of years, and it works. You can't improve on perfection.

Also beheadings were most common form couple hundred years ago.

I remember hearing a story about a French doctor who was sentenced to beheading via guillotine. This doctor wanted to know how long a head remained "alive" after being severed, because he had witnessed a woman beheaded- the executioner picked up her head, and slapped her in the face. She allegedly "blushed". This made the doctor believe there was some form of consciousness left in her.

So he told his assistant that when he is beheaded, he will attempt to blink as many times as possible, demonstrating that he is still conscious and alive. He was beheaded, and his assistant counted 12 BLINKS before he was fully dead. This indicates that even after his head was severed, there was thought still happening in his head. He was able to focus on blinking while beheaded.

Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Yes. There were a number of experiments conducted like that. In one, the executioner picked up the head and shouted the victim's name in his face. The eyes opened and moved as he looked at the executioner. The executioner turned the head so it could see the decapitated body and the victim's face appeared visibly upset, and the mouth moved as if it were trying to speak.

Heard the same story, don't know if it's true, I do know that people about to be beheaded were buying a lot of Absinthe, supposedly.

My 2 cents.

When blood is cut to the brain the drop in blood pressure causes lights out immediately. Zero delay.

I'm not saying that they die immediately but absolutely creatures will go unconscious instantly.

You can see it in their eyes

Seems easy. Don't fix what's not broken.

Short rope or long rope? The latter is effective but too quick in my opinion.

They should just take people to a high altitude and let them laugh themselves to death in a stupor

One .22-short round to the head, behind the ear. Cheap, no mess, quick. But I prefer hanging, because it is traditional, and we must hold onto our traditions.

Hanging when in public and it making a message.

.22 to the head when you're shooting into the head and need the victim to not panic.

My ladies go this way. One second among paddock mates. The next lights out no pain.

Shotgun to the back of the head would satisfy everyone--except the bitches who want to release murders when they get old to be "humane". Quick and painless, instant destruction of the circuits needed for sentience.

Who is first on the list?

Consider moving to Africa where you'll be around those with a similar intelligence.

If the crime was particularly offensive (or if a message needs to be sent to others) I think we should consider public

I'm with Tom Kratman on this one. Bring back an oldy but a goody. Make crucifixion great again.

Tom foretold this distopian present decades ago.
