Or it can be seen as the best of both worlds. Equity appreciation of a single family home at a lower cost and fewer maintenance issues that you have to manage.

Real estate developers are in the business of making as much money for themselves as possible. Bling is more important to them than substance. That's why you see granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in everything, but no soundproofing, OSB instead of plywood, and inadequate parking.

It gets even better. Governmwnt demands that a certain percentage of new builds e affordable. Never mind that no matter how cheap you make it, someone has spent their money on other shit, and cannot afford it.

So those beautiful Blanco undermount sinks, and granite counteracts get turned into drop in sinks with shoddy cut holes in the granite. 3 burner stove, linoleum flooring.

Next to the unit with the 6 burner stove of same brand, undermount sink with faucetsized to the sink. Its a joke.

From what I observe whenever I see new construction, it's all plywood.

It's OSB, imitation plywood except floors and roofs.
