Nah move to a red state if your actually one of ours. Anyone staying behind in the cities are as good as dead when this shit goes critical in the next year or two. Only fight battles you can actually win. No sense in throwing yourself over a cliff for something thats entirely unrealistic. No point in losing good people who have no support structure in those places. I mean sure die on a pile of brass outnumbered 100 to one alone but its not going to change anything and you could be organizing with people and have a plan to go back in and clean those places out later.
I understand what you are saying, but my point is, there will be no opportunity to "go in and clean up those places later". If it really gets to that point, where the urban areas are war zones, then our country has collapsed completely, and we will be invaded and wiped out by China.
I hear what you are saying, but if it gets so bad that there will be a "pile of brass", then America will have completely collapsed, at which point we will be invaded by China and get totally wiped out. there will be NO opportunity to "go back in and clean those places out later".
Make a stand now, where you are, or just give in. running and hiding in the country, in my opinion, will not solve the problems we have.
Nah china will get their ass beat too eventually. not to mention they will have their hands full with other stuff like India Japan Australia and a handful of other places that would be of more immediate concern and threat than a collapsed America armed with more small arms than all the worlds armies combined. White mans Afghanistan. I figure we would have at least 25 years before they were stable enough to spend the billion troops they would need. They'll burn those up in India first. Right now they are just trying to get us out of the global game especially in south Asia and we need to get out of the global game anyway and solve some issues at home and we wont be able to do what needs to be done with this fed thats corrupted to the core and unfixable.
dad used to tell me a story about Korea. there were so many chinese, that the barrels of the machine guns would get red hot. they would need to pour water on the barrels to keep them from drooping and to keep shooting. most of the chinese only had hoes and rakes. yet they kept coming. pushed the Americans back to the south again. we fought the whole Korean war, and didn't gain an inch of territory.
there are so many chinese today, if it doesn't turn nuclear, then they would just keep coming till we were overwhelmed. and most of the urbanites would just cave. do you think places like Los Angeles or Portland would put up a fight? highly doubtful. India is a joke. they have even worse problems than Detroit. they are not a threat to China except for nukes.
America does not live in a vacuum. if we collapse, we will be invaded. from the south by the latinos, from the west by the chinese, maybe even from the east by the africans. when the big guy falls, everyone tries to get a piece of the pie that is left over.
