Generally, everyone is broke af or is good enough at making excuses, they get the bare minimum rate... as if they were making minimum wage. You're getting hosed if you pay in with 50/50 custody and likely made a strategic error somewhere along the way. Military personnel? Definitely getting hosed. They cannot escape the garnishment. Upper middle class? The lawyers get the most.
