Yep, I know one. Co-worker's ex-wife gave up the young child to the husband. Child not so young that it didn't understand completely what the mother had just done to them. Apparently, she wanted total degenerate freedom so badly she apparently had no protest in being ordered to pay child support. It's just him and his kid now.
Losing your mother to accident or illness is one thing. Being abandoned by your mother at a young age where you're very conscious about exactly what happened must be a whole other world of fucked up I wouldn't know about.
I've known the guy for 7 years. Very square kind of guy, responsible, good father, good work ethic. Never a sign of abusiveness, never an accusation of it.
Thats heartbreaking. Good for him. I know this inbred chick who had a child, and gave it to her mother to raise, treating the infant like her sister because she "felt no emotional attachment to it."
