Read plenty of shitposts then about not following sports anymore.

First of all, what sports did you watch and which team did you follow?

Did you reneg on your self-promise?

If you didn't, how's your quality of life been since you unfollowed American sports?

I used to enjoy watching professional football a couple of decades ago. The Washington Redskins with Joe Theismann I and John Riggins was the team I followed. I also was a fan of the Boston Celtics with Larry Bird and Kevin McHale. When Bird retired, I stopped watching basketball. After the Redskins dynasty passed, I stopped watching football. I always found baseball a bit slow, although it's an interesting game, the way it is put together. I followed the games of the Montreal Canadians for a few years. I enjoyed watching the Mahovlich brothers skate together. They could be explosive. Ken Dryden was amazing to watch, before the year he went to the Olympics and did really badly in net. Today I watch almost nothing. I do watch the Tour de France each year, but the great riders are all gone now.
