private unions are fine, if they extract too many concessions from the employer they go out of business
public unions must be made illegal, there is no consequence for extraction of benefits and the unions manipulate policy to their own ends

I had a relative that thoroughly enjoyed the shut down due to union membership. Got full pay to do nothing for the majority of last year since there was covid and not allowed to go into the office, and mostly had field/outside work that got shut down for 'reasons'. Best job ever.

IBEW sued and got the 40 hr. work week as well as retirement at 65 years of age. Labor unions have done a lot to build America in the last century.
