Yeah I don't know what alarms a casino would have to detect guns. I've never seen anything in a casino that would have stopped this. Plus people kill without motive all the time. Or rather the motive is just to kill people and when it's totally random and only one person doing it (as opposed to a group) it's next to impossible to stop.
