Let’s say a health mandate was completely unavoidable, but you had a choice in what that mandate was. What would a benevolent government that actually cares about its people mandate to fight back against a virus that supposedly kills fatties and elderly people?

1 hour of daily exercise.
Limit/ban access to junk/fast food.
Weekly fasting.
A mix of all of the above.
Send fat people to camps, lol.

Personally, I'm against any sort of authoritarian. It doesn't matter to me how noble you believe your cause, there's no fundamental difference between some blue haired shrieking feminist who wants me castrated, and you, who thinks it's fine to dictate how I live in other ways.

I fucking hate assholes like you who think that just because it's supposed to be good for someone they can tell you how to live. Take for example reading. I love to read. Leave me alone on a summer afternoon in the hammock and I'll devour novels whole. But there's nothing I hated more than in highschool when they forced everyone to stop and read for an hour, to make more people read. It didn't matter how much I loved the activity, being forced into it soured the entire thing.

Likewise, I love to hike. An hour walk would be nothing for me, but fuck you for thinking you have any right to tell me what I can and can't do. And spare me any communist arguments about how it's good for society. Society does fuck all for me, so I'm inclined to return the favor.
