I love a good Scotch, always neat. I'm a big fan of Scotch from the Islay region. Laphroaig 10yr is my go to, but I really liked the bottle of Lagavulin 16yr I had about a year back, and may turn towards it in the future. If you drink it, what brands do you fancy?

Just finished a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood 12 last month. Good stuff. I liked Lagavulin 16 but holy fuck is it smokey. I haven't branched out a ton with scotch. I'm afraid of spending $80 on a bottle I won't like. Highland Park 12 has been a go to for me. Not the best but hits a good middle of the road and not a huge price tag.

Lagavulin's heavy smoke is what I love about it, pair it with some BBQ....fuck yes!
