Tuna Cans can last up to 5 years i think. The problem with can is the metal, I try to stored dry stuff in Glass Jars. I know dry up Chocolate will last for like 50+ years. I once bought some dried up Chocolate Candy bars online and the expiry date on them was like 2075
Tuna cans are labeled for sale within 5 years. As for actual practice, we don't know how long it will last because we haven't been canning it long enough for them to spoil (assuming you protect the cans from corrosion.) It probably won't taste as good and might be an odd color, but it will be safe to eat if the can is intact and not dented/bulging.
