I can't tell by the local c-stores, they're always running out of stuff because they get cleaned out of a lot of stuff (snacks, bread, milk, etc.) for the weekend.
The local chain grocers have a lot of empty space with few products in them. They're not "out" per se, but where they'd normally have 20-30 of something they have 2-3. The smaller non-chain grocers don't seem to have any issues with stocking the shelves, which is odd. I usually drive out of my way to a particular store because I know they'll have everything.
