That's weird right? At first I was thinking maybe he did it as a token to the Dems or maybe he's required/obligated to do so as Senate Leader for some reason...but why would he have to be the ONLY sponsor? Not a single Senate Dem but their name on that bill. There doesn't even appear to be any co-sponsors. The House bill has like 90 reps signed on.
Any idea (other than Mitch being a bitch) why that would happen?
