Lately feel like my body isn't my own, or it's trying to split into two separate bodies spiritually. Or my nerves are misplaced in different parts of my body, like my arms are growing out from my teeth. After my naps like this I get dizzy spells as well. No, I'm not on drugs.

Wonder if anyone else feels this occasionally or can explain why it's happening? My research hasn't been fruitful.

Edit: Thanks all. I have some things to try.

Do you have a functional carbon monoxide detector?

Could just be a sleep disorder...like a sleep paralysis type thing.

And you may not be doing drugs, but that doesn't mean you're not being exposed to toxins that could make you feel high or hallucinate. Mold would be my first thought there.

Or a brain tumor. Maybe when lying down there's extra pressure or something?

I'd try sleeping somewhere else one night to ensure it isn't environmental. Consider anything new that you might be exposed to since this began.

It's been a few different rooms, including outside on the grass. Hope it's not a tumor, I'm too young for that....

Another comment mentioned my smartphone, I'm inclined to believe that might be my problem actually. I've always had a vivid imagination and crazy dreams, maybe they've been heightened or something.

I highly doubt it's your phone, but good luck.

I sleep right next to my phone every night and experience nothing similar to this

Are you 'vaccinated' for Covid?

Maybe you’re going crazy.

Do you have a smart phone and is it next to you while you sleep? If so try leaving it in another room. Same with any other electronic device.

Yeah, I think it's been by me almost every time this has happened actually...should have been obvious lol

If you're going to do that, shut your wifi router off as well.

If he's going to do that he should put chicken wire and aluminum foil on all the walls and the door too.

Have you experienced with any noticeable frequency deju vu? Do you ever feel overwhelming emotions when you're around other people who are exhibiting strong emotions? Do you feel squeezed when in crowds? Do you ever feel another "presence" around you, especially at night, be it a malicious or benevolent one? Have you ever experienced premonitions, whether they be during dreams or when awake? Do you have a strong intuition, like you can tell when someone is in danger or have you ever had a sudden urge to leave a specific area only to later learn something out of the ordinary occurred in the area? Can you easily "read people"? Do you or have you before feel like you can often finish people's sentences, especially when they're struggling to find the right words to use? Has any "crazy person" ever approached you and said something very, very off the wall, or, even more interestingly, said something quite personal about you that you only know a person close to you would be privy to? Have you noticed significant changes in personality, psychical appearance or routines in your life recently?

If this is just nonsense to you, that's fine and you can feel free to just ignore me. If a majority of these appear to fit your situation, I would advice a DM instead.

Every night my crotch feels funny. The next morning, one of my socks is soggy. Coincidence?

It isn't like my dreams have been weird, just how they happen.

In the past two weeks I start dreaming as soon as I close my eyes. It's so instantaneous. And really weird.
