I've done similar things before. It's a neighborly move. The "social safety net" is kiked when it's implemented from the top down but neighbors helping neighbors in need is based af.

Yes. However where on fucking EARTH do taxes not cover garbage pickup? This is absurd to me.
We get county dump passes when we pay our property taxes. It's included automatically. We take it ourselves although there is service for a fee for pickup by private company. It's been nice since we've been doing a lot of remodeling and projects. They take almost anything and some hazard labeled material by appointment.
In the states I've lived in I've paid the city monthly water/sewer/garbage. Obviously no water/sewer now out in unincorporatedville, but still monthly for the county sanitation pickup.

I suppose there and super wealthy gate communities that want no part in city / county services. That's just odd to me.
