Bro, I'm no Christian, more of a Woden guy, sans the sacrifice (but I also know that Woden and the Christian God represent the same thing and I accept Jesus as a messenger). But the Israelites weren't brownies, they were white and they were some of your ancestors, if indeed you are white. Yeah it was in the middle east, a very long time ago, before the muzzies browned the whole region via the slave trade.

Judahites redacted the torah, they only wrote parts of it. Most of the early books are about the other tribes, who were fighting for the same shit you are. And many of the ppl on those stories also appear in our own myths, such as Gideon and Samson. Different cultures just had different names for them. In Phoenicia Samson was milquart, in Greece Hercules, in gual, oghmios.

Well Christianity brought prosperity, there can be little doubt about that. It stopped the sacrifice as well. It certainly institutionalized serfdom as well so not all good by any stretch. But it did force us to cease the practices most offensive to God and most detrimental to ourselves.

Christianity stopped working because we've forgotten it's meaning. Jesus was no Jew (they didn't even exist back then). And neither was Joseph, Deborah, Gideon, Samson, Joshua, or basically any of the other characters. Their ppl didn't stay in the levant bro. They migrated and in many cases wrote down their own stories, so we know who a lot of them are and where they went. There is a reason the pharoes of the times, closest living relatives are the British as determined by genetic testing for instance. Moses was a member of that dynasty and the Greeks record that their tribe danan was expelled at the same time as Moses. And the bible records the tribe of Dan being seafarers just like the Greek version and behaving I'm a similar manner.

The true answer is Syncretism. Want a hint? Jesus was what you would call "Caucasian".

Indeed, but so were his oppressors.

I'm not quite so sure. Maybe in some forms, but I will admit I haven't done much deep inspection as to how to parse out the overlap between different parties. I'm not sure it matters much today who they were. What's more important today is who's doing the same thing and how to counter it.
