As with most states, the cities can be a bit blue, Missoula, Boise, Bozeman, and Laramie are the worst in my opinion, but they're severely outnumbered. The laws and restrictions have been lax.

If shtf, the moisture and weather down there will ruin everything. The drier, cooler climates will fare better. Wood is everywhere. Things don't mold, rot, and rust. You don't stay moist and sticky all the time. Plus you're surrounded by niggers and mosquitos.
