If we want to go the "Trump was put in" route, I would believe it was for to create such an extreme snapback that if they got power again, they could blast through the fucking roof with communism and liberals would have to go along with it or eat crow that they were wrong about Trump. And they know shit humans' human nature, they ain't ever going to admit they were wrong.
That’s probably a benefit of it too. But do you think they’re more worried about whether leftists continue to follow them, which they likely would have anyway, or about a bunch of fed up right wingers with 400 million guns?
Also there is no “if” they got back into power. They are in power and were. They proved without a doubt that they choose who is in office, and there’s no reason to think that doesn’t apply to Trump.
I think Trump won because he had intel support to counter some election rigging, navigate MSM, and People like Drudge etc throwing their support, and especially because of reddit and other social media sites not yet censoring so for the first time in human history the general populace had a MSM level of influence / voice.
That's why you saw them go STRAIGHT for Drudge, he's disappeared, Assange, gone, reddit censored, facebook censored, twitter censored, website domains disappearing, big tech competitors getting their credit card processors revoked, app stores removing big tech competitors. They went for EVERYTHING they thought helped Trump get in.
