If it's Jewish why do they need the Talmud for re-interpreting it into wildly different things? Bear in mind that the Talmud was written after Judea was turned into Palestine and the surviving Jews were expelled. The OT warns against Magic Arts/ sorcery, yet the Jews have Kabbalah, which is directly taken from Pagan 'Mysteries' like Chaldean numerology. Why would the Native MENA population write a fanfic about pastoralist colonisers from Egypt? They are mostly Lactose Intolerant, even with the European Admixture they have, so what significance does a land of "milk & honey" have to them? There's a lot that doesn't match up. At least depriving them of the book they use to give themselves legitimacy and prop themselves up, is not a bad idea, you should try to expose their lies, whatever they may be, even if you don't desire to be Christian. Also if you just take the NT on it's own, and assert that it's completely separate from the OT (essentially you're saying Jesus was a liar), that's when you get people filling in the gaps with complete pacifism & globalism, or 'Holy Mother' worship and shit like that.
