Personally I wouldn't listen to a forum warrior who tells everyone else not to listen to someone, when they have no idea what that person's background might be.
It sounds like I was close enough about your background.
I know exactly what happens to lottery winners. It's called sudden wealth syndrome. They are an outlier and statistically irrelevant. There is nothing more soul crushing than abject poverty and thinking people lose the value in their mundane routine poorfag lifestyle if they become wealthy is ridiculous. A perfect life doesn't exist so nearly everyone would be better off if they were financially secure.
Nope, I think not, you actually need very little income to be secure, what you need are assets (and education). The same position that people are in when they go off into the woods, build a cabin, drill a well and fit some solar panels. Their income is minimal, but their assets and security outstrip the typical city libtard.

which were all the points I was making, and for which you called me an idiot for pointing out for some reason?
They are an outlier and statistically irrelevant
44% of lotto winners lose their entire fortune Only 55% online lottery winner say they are happier 90% of lottery winners lose friends 32% of lottery winners gain weight
I would those stats are over inflated, but it's in line with what I've seen from people who have say sold a business and retired They lived for work, and now they just fill the time in with world cruises and trying expensive hobbies which they quickly bore of.
They are happier because they are financially secure, that's it. Beyond owning a bunch of houses their needs are much the same as they were before. I know at least one millionaire who still buys odd things from a $1 shop.
That's why winning $500M is dangerous, you are now in a different world where everyone wants a piece of you, and you can't do anything interesting with your poor friends. If you won only $500K, you could probably keep your friends if you kept your mouth shut and didn't buy flash cars.
It might be different in the US, but in the UK if you are a poor fag with £500M, people who have earned £50M will always treat you like a poorfag, and those people will stand out a mile in any social setting. You might not think there are any social rules, but people born into serious money have spent their whole life navigating them and can spot an oike a mile off; from the way they talk, their lack of bearing or what cologne they are wearing; everything is noticed and judged
So sure, play the 500K game if you have loose change burning a hole, but don't waste a life waiting on 500M to appear before you think you will finally be happy.
