With state of Australia being the way that it is right now, I'm wondering:

Are any of you starting to regret turning your guns in to the government a few years ago?

The point I am making is that if people are truly desperate, they will end up weighing up those odds and ultimately conclude that its worth the chance of death (because the alternate is worse).

Sure, and the point I’m trying to make is that if American citizens chances are slim, Australian citizens chances are at least 100 times slimmer. Just saying, I don’t think it’s “muddying the waters” to say that Australians are almost certainly fucked. Sure, a chance in hell exists, if you consider 0.000001% a chance in hell

You're muddying the waters because you're stating that Australians are defenseless, when they are not. Sure, they may not have as many guns - but it does not mean there isn't other means to defend oneself.

I never said they are defenseless, I said they’re charging police with their fists, which they are, while Americans would have guns. The guy I was responding to was basically saying Americans are in the same boat as aussies, and that’s just delusional Aussie speak. Do you agree or disagree?

Edit: additionally, can you name any war that was won by the side that started without guns?
