Before a smart aleck says "but reddit doesn't provide a list of every forum", reddit is top 20 website on the internet with 430 million monthly active users and probably has millions of forums on it.

Why do I have to be logged into see all the forums? That makes the usability rubbish. How are people supposed to signup to a website and often read it, if they don't know what's on it? Most website users are just lurkers who don't have an account or just a silent lurker account.
