Perfectly said. I've noticed the same thing. They think it's a safe spot to sit in because it keeps you most visible to them. They're also incapable of passing so they just pace other cars because it requires the least amount of thinking and they don't stick out because they're just following the heard. I've seen people pace semi trucks in their Blindspot... Because the truck created a shade for them to sit in next to the truck. Most people are not worthy of the dirt they walk on.
