A great example of what spalling looks like, when a bullet gets stopped by steel armor (AR500 or similar). The truck bed liner they spray on doesn't help. Note that Nokia armor plates are clearly also susceptible to spalling, so I still have to insist you get ceramic plates before a bunch of Nokias.
