I like corn syrup on pancakes, it is thick and stays on the outside of the pancake, keeping pancakes dry and fluffy on the inside. Regular syrups are watery and make soggy pancakes.

Fair enough, but maple syrup has a lot more antioxidants & nutrients.

You die 2.5 years earlier if you seek to eat extra antioxidants!!!

Antioxidents make mammal test animals die sooner, and in that paper show death correlations to humans.

Avoiding maple syrup can lengthen your life, but you do lose out on vitamins and minerals avoiding real maple syrup.

Maple syrup laws allow it to be very watery to save money. Too watery in USA and Canada, so it soaks into pancake like water.
