Because obviously carpet does not belong in the kitchen and I managed to cut it pretty straight and now I need to know what to do at the edge where it meets the floor, I figured I would just put a piece of trim over it but I believe I am missing a step.

No it was opposite the door to the outside.

It was strange but it isn’t there now I cut it up
