This is normal. A few things:

• Most of the chatter here about women is by men. We kind of oversimplify women the same way women oversimplify us. In other words, men inadvertently create an impression that women are less capable than men by the nature of how we talk about women.

• Women are very powerful and capable. Most women believe they are good at multi-tasking, but studies show this isn't true. What women are good at are colour, specific types of design and what I think of as 1st gear thinking. Female nervous systems are hard wired for rapid absorption of ifinite amounts of detail because they have to raise children to the ages of about 5 or 7 at which point the father takes over the rearing / teaching. This means the female nervous system notices more detail at a greater rates in smaller increments and makes women really good at specific things.

Mens nervous systems are hard wired toward hierarchy, spacial orientation, hunting and warfare. Because we have to die in war and women don't, we need to be able to filter out the signal from noise so we basically ignore everything that isn't important. And, 99% of things in life are not important. But, when war comes, entire subsystems come to life in us and we become different animals.

So, women aren't lesser, they are co-evolved in an asymetric way for different tasks.

I you take the above two points into account then we get the following:

1) Before the industrial revolution, a single human had no economies of scale and what we produced had a 1:1 relationship with our physical nature. The man could only go out and hunt and farm and bringin food and a woman was stuck around the hearth preparing food and taking care of the tribe.

2) After the industrial revolution, single individuals now have economies of scale. Men built all of this technology and systems basically to improve the lives of our women. We don't care or need any of this technology. If men did not need women, we would livein teepees down by the river and fish. So, men are still doing everything they have always done, create more and more technology tomake our womens lives easier.

However, we now live in an industrial society that is also networked. What this means is that our industrial production systems are getting so automated that with a little bit of communication a woman can actually now step out of a house / village and excercise all the weird bullshit that goes on in between a womans ears. As a man, I honestly have to say that I have totally lost all respect for women now that we can all hear what goes on in between a womans ears through social media. But, that being said, it doesn't change the fact of the economics of the situation. Women now have the ability to dream up whatever they want and with a teeeny tiny bit of effort, use all the infrastructure that men have built to start businesses and get stuff produced that they want to see in the world. Stuff that men could never think of ... because as I said before, we only need womens bodies, everything else women do is useless to us.

Basicaly, what has happend is that now that the world is networked, women can actualy create the products they want without having to invent any technology, process or invention.

And this is also a huge part of what is going on in the western world. Where in the past women fit into the conception of our male perception of the world, we have now fully enabled women to explore the world (and fuck it up) because of the freedom that we built through the technology that we built. So, for example, we now have a situation where every woman is bilogically built to want a man to be strong, masculine, provide and make more than she does but because of the technology we built women now have more degrees than us and can make more money than us creating a situation where women used to be unhappy being under the thumb of men, they are now unhappy because they are free to no longer be under the thumb of men.

We will see how men and women end up re-negotiating our relationships going forward. We don't have more than a few generations to figure out how to get our birth rates up before it is all over for us. We need families of 10+ kids again and starting soon, so maybe, a part of the answer is engaging women in a way that enables them to bring in additional money using technology men built while men keep on building more technology.

Or something like that.

Its been happening for years, you just somehow had your head in the clouds or in the sand and its spooked you.

Edit: Also its kinda normal, women in the past made money like that. Making clothes or small crafts to bring in more income.

Designers don't "make" anything. They design. And the renumeration isn't great. What happens is these female designers sell their designs to companies (invariably in China) run by men who then sell them at a huge markup to western women. The manufacturers make a lot of money, they get clothes they know are fashionable enough to sell in the west, and the designers get to write "designer" as their job title on instagram. Very very few of them make enough money just to pay bills.

Many business youtubers have been promoting making branded products for the last few years.

They all watched them.
